Product Description
These bundles are designed to help hydrate, moisturise and soothe perimenopausal and menopausal skin using only natural ingredients and the wonders of the hive.
As oestrogen plummets, skin becomes thinner and loses its adeptness to hold water and, without so much sebum to moisturise it, and as the skin cycles naturally slows down, the effects of any drying actions such as harsh treatments, ingredients or exposure to the sun, wind or cold, can aggravate, sensitise and dry skin more readily.
A drop in hormones during menopause also changes the pH level of our skin causing greater sensitivity so you are more likely to experience rashes or skin that becomes easily irritated and, if your skin is prone to sensitivity, this can increase, along with intensity of existing skin conditions, such as eczema or rosacea. It may also now be that your skin has become sensitive to the preservatives, additives and/or fragrances in your usual skincare or make up.
