Between the two of us, we create every product, answer every email, pack every parcel and care for every customer. We each bring different skills to the business, but we share the same passion for creating gentle, natural skincare and offering the kind of personal service that's becoming increasingly rare.
Hi, I'm Cath
I'm the founder and formulator behind Honey Bee Beautiful, and every product we make begins with one simple question:
Would I genuinely want to use this myself?
If the answer is no, it simply doesn't become part of our range.
I've always believed skincare should be made with purpose, using ingredients I trust and products I'd genuinely enjoy using every day.
Growing Up
I've always felt happiest outdoors. Growing up in a small rural village in Wales, I spent my childhood surrounded by nature. I was completely horse-mad and would happily spend most evenings at the stables cleaning tack or simply sitting quietly in the fields with the horses.
At home, we were largely self-sufficient and grew all our own vegetables. Spending so much time outside, I developed a deep appreciation for the natural world and everything it could provide.
As I got older, I became fascinated by natural therapies and making things from scratch. Long before natural skincare became popular, I struggled to find products made with the simple, natural ingredients I was looking for, so I began creating my own.
Cath & the bees
Everything changed when I became a beekeeper.
When I started learning more about bees and the products from the hive, I discovered just how effective raw honey and beeswax could be for protecting, calming and moisturising skin. They quickly became the heart of the skincare I wanted to create - gentle, effective products made with all natural ingredients I genuinely believed in.
Looking back, it feels as though every step, from growing up close to nature, to becoming a beekeeper and leaving a career in law, naturally led me to creating Honey Bee Beautiful.
Making skincare in the cabin
Before Honey Bee Beautiful, my life looked very different. I spent over 20 years working as a lawyer, balancing courtrooms, long commutes and the pressures of city life. Although I enjoyed the challenge and responsibility involved, I eventually realised my heart belonged somewhere much quieter.
Today, we formulate every Honey Bee Beautiful product from scratch in our cabin in rural Wales. Every recipe is carefully developed, refined and tested until we are completely happy with it. If we wouldn't choose to use it ourselves, it simply doesn't become part of our range.
Walking with the Trudy Dog
Outside of Honey Bee Beautiful, you'll usually find me walking in the woods or up the mountains with my husband, Michael, and our rescue dog, Trudy. Nature has always been where I feel most at home, and it's where I find inspiration for both life and work.
That same love of nature still inspires everything we create at Honey Bee Beautiful today.
The greatest reward of all is hearing from customers whose skin has become healthier, calmer and more comfortable because of something we've made.

Together
Although we have very different strengths, we make a great team.
Cath is the formulator, researcher and always the first to spot a new idea or a better way of doing something. Bec is the writer, communicator and customer champion, making sure every email, parcel and conversation feels warm and personal.
Together, we're involved in every part of Honey Bee Beautiful, from developing products and making fresh batches to packing your orders and answering your questions.
